Trim the heel block

After the sides are trimmed, I trim the neck / heel block such that the height fits the sides which is about 80mm.
If the neck block is too high, the slipper foot will be too thin when I trim to fit.
Thus I had to plane away some of the heel block at the part which will glued to the neck.
Of course during planing I had to check for squareness and flatness.

Check the height with the side. A thin piece of spruce is place below to simulate the top.
The pencil line is the part of the side to be trimmed to.
