Sen Goh
Sen Goh has been building guitars part-time since 2007, mainly specialising in building classical guitar. Beginning Sen started off making guitar mainly learning from books and videos and with a kit from the LMI (famous Online Luthier Supplies Site but closed for good). As time passes, Sen also managed to learn lutherie insights from various luthier forums and from experienced other luthiers friends like Alexandru Marian from Romania, David Chin from Australia; acquiring valuable knowledge such as how to tune the guitar sound board to achieve a good sounding guitar . By adopting mainly scientific method of building, Sen aims to achieve a good sounding guitar consistently. Sen has since built guitars of different styles including Torres, Simplicio, and Bouchet and incorporated new modern features to his guitars like sound ports and elevated fingerboard. Philosophy The main objective Sen hopes to achieve in each guitar is one with great projecting trebles with a controlled bass. This can be achieved by controlling the bracing pattern and the guitar resonances.
